Miele offers an optional HEPA-filtered forced air-drying unit that provides fast, quiet (66 dbA), particulate free glassware drying.
The unit can dry most glassware in just 15-20 minutes, eliminating the need to transfer the glassware to a separate drying oven.
The drying system also features a 1,000-hour maintenance cycle for the PG 8527.
With this improved drying system, the HEPA filter is fitted directly upstream from the wash cabinet, giving you increased air purity in the cabinet. No air borne particles from heating, fan or silencers are in the drying air.
Combined with Miele's assortment of direct injection baskets, forced-air drying blows air both around the chamber and into each individual piece of glassware for complete drying,even in difficult, restrictive narrow-neck items.

Drying times and temperatures (ambient to 115ºC)are fully adjustable to meet the demands of objects being dried.
The dual filtration system consists of prefilters rated at 95% efficiency for 200 hours, and S-class HEPA filters rated at 99.992% efficient for 1000 hours.
