Detergents and Neutralizers

Miele has developed a wide range of detergents in collaboration with the German chemical company, Dr. Weigert. Each of these detergents has unique cleaning capabilities, allowing us to confidently address virtually any application.
The cleaning process is by nature, aggressive. Detergents are typically alkaline compounds with corrosive characteristics. In order to restore the proper pH balance and minimize damage to the item being cleaned, all Miele systems can dispense a neutralizing agent immediately following the wash cycle. This process also serves an important role in eliminating detergent residue from the items being washed.
To further ensure complete removal of detergent and neutralizer residue, most Miele Cleaning Systems allows for both ambient and heated deionized water rinses.
